Mr.J's super fun fantastic corner
So, I'll be starting off by posting my know-it-all-isms on how to make the game easier and more enjoyable for everyone else. There's a hard way to do things and then there's my way. I prefer my way. Some of you will prefer the hard way.
I'll start off with expertise grinding.
Everyone hates expertise grinding. Unless you fell off your bike at high speeds, striking your head off the ground and causing neurological damage when you were young. However, we all got to do it just to be viable in the game. I'll tell you my secrets for maxing your expertise in a few days instead of a few weeks.
To start, I have to say I've never used this in MegaTen. I have used it in other games I've played. Some had the tools built right in to the game. So, with that said, use this at your own risk and DO NOT go around telling people that you've done this to advance.
First thing's first. The main tool you're going to need is a macro program. Google search "free macro program" and find one you like. I use the one that came with my Logitech G series keyboard. I used to use the one that came with my Nostromo n52. You're going to be setting up some key macros. The first and most important is the Anti-AFK macro. Basically, you're quickly writing a macro to replace the old "jam a penny under [A]".
The macro should look like this (Directional button [A] delay; 30)
Next you'll need one for attacking (Specific attack, delay [the length of your alternate cool down], alternate specific attack, delay [the length of your cool down] ) - This allows enough time to keep a rhythm.
Other useful macros - (Cure, delay of cure, cure) (Support, delay of support, support) (Curse, curse, curse) (Guard, guard) (Counter, alternate counter) (Dodge, alternate dodge)
The first thing I'll discuss is expertise grinding on the mighty Oberon. A few things you need to know about Oberon. First, he has two moves. Dodge and counter. Both are a pain in the ass. Second, the zone has a curse. You can't regen health or magic while the curse is on you. It lasts 10 minutes and is reinstated every time you cross the invisible center line in the room. Your demon will not be affected.
Things you may want to bring:
Expertise boosting potions and gear.
Things you will need to purchase to make this method useful:
Hour glass of reversal or an item like it.
So, get your ass to Home 3 hack dungeon. Bring a pet that can resurrect and heal. Fight your way to Oberon (good luck with the Kodima, bring a lot of agi and bufu stones or a friend or both or magic) and trap him in a corner. Strip naked and use the hour glass. You want your attack to be as weak as possible. You want to hurt Oberon, not kill him. Remember the Kodima? Do you want to fight them again? Don't go chasing Oberon around the room. Avoid the curse. And if you're using ranged attacks, he seems to move when he successfully dodges your attack. Rush takes about 35 hours, non stop with no deaths. Spin takes 30 hours. Magic control takes 18-20 hours.
This works great for attack, rush, spin, destruction magic, rapid, shot.
Next will be Support and Bless
You'll want a discrete location. The eye shop by the Home 3 service entrance is my favourite spot. Zoom in as close as you can, leave your mouse on you and activate your macro. The best one for bless is the first heal buff in enhance.
Cure
Get to the virtual battles and have your demon pick on the gaki. Run back to a corner and leave your mouse on your demon (until you get the group heal).
Defense
At the virtual battle, attack one or two gaki and run to a corner. Activate your macro to spam either guard or the counter/alter counter. Make sure you have a demon out that can heal you. And make sure you strip down. Every hit you take has the potential to reduce your armor or weapon.
Dodge
Get to the Kissy pixie location. Attack one. Dodge it. If you have 2 dodges, attack 2 pixies. Dodge 2 pixies.
That's it for now. Remember, this is all intended to keep you grinding while you're watching porn, off at school or work, sleeping off a hang over, what ever. So enjoy.
Next will be multi boxing on a single rig.

Multi Boxing on a single Rig
Okay! As promised, how to multi box with 1 computer and do it successfully with SMT. You may ask yourself "Why on earth would I want to do this?" I'll tell you friend. You can set up one account to do the expertise grinding on one machine and another account you can play on while the other is grinding away, uninterrupted. And when it's all done, you can have the one account tag along and make a little extra macca at the end of a dungeon run. I need to state off the bat though, if your computer isn't some kind of power house (Intel i3/i5/i7) you may not want to do this. To give you an idea of the power I use and the setup I'm capable of;
Asus P6t6 WS
1500 Watt power
Intel i7 980
24 Gig's of DDR3 Ram
1TB hybrid HDD (solid state cache of 8GB)
4 250GB SAS HDD
3 ATI HD 6980's in tri crossfire setup
This allows me to run 6 virtual machines at once with no slow down. But I only ever use 2.
This game doesn't work like DOMO where you can launch multiple clients at once (unless you've hacked the .exe and that's bad.. no one should ever hack the .exe. It's not nice.) so you've got to read the EULA and work in their loop holes. And their loophole states that you can have 1 client running for 1 computer. Thankfully there are virtual machines and they're free.
I use VMWare. It's free and it's easy. Download it, install it, download the update options and install your favourite operating system to the virtual machine (It runs exactly like a computer) Some things you may want are a spare monitor (not necessary) a keyboard and a mouse.
So, install MegaTen, setup your macro program, and do what ever you want on the other machine.
If you need detailed instructions on how to set this up, contact me. For the most part, it's straight forward.

Beneficial bug that brings happiness to everyone.
I found this one by accident. You will need
1 Ardine's thread and buffs that you enjoy.
Here's the trick. Level up and/or use orbs of speed and other buffs (haven't tested this with XP/EXP items but in theory it should work) and immediately use the Ardine's thread. Once you've loaded back to the area you want and before the text scrolls across your screen, hard close the game (in windows mode, press the X in the upper right corner). Then relaunch the game.
Every time you zone you will have those buffs on you. This bug should stay on you until the devs do maintenance. Sometimes they don't fix the characters, so you could end up going weeks with this setup. The buffs will wear off at the end of the timer. So just zone and get them back. Easy Peasy.

Re: Mr.J's super fun fantastic corner
Damn J.. I guess your godlike gear extends to your PC as well! Kinda jealous of that rig Nice info too.
Re: Mr.J's super fun fantastic corner
gotta try this renew glitch too, i know it was there, tried several ways to get it (for demon inc)
But i only got it a few times by luck or so it seems ;o
For demons when you teach it a WC skill it will lose it though, be warned ^^
but please don't leak this info :/ don't want it to get patched kaaaaay
but does this glitch renew it after the buff disappeared and you zoned,
or when you zone and the buff is still active, just renews the timer? (have had both glitches)

Re: Mr.J's super fun fantastic corner
My buffs will often run out during a Sugi gold run. When I zone back in to the main staging area (where you buy your plates) the buffs all return.
I wasn't aware of the WC part. That's good info to know.

by the nine divines that is a monster of a PC! Though ewwwwwww ATI I'm not a fan of them but that's starting to change because Nvidia drivers are zo gud *cough cough*
Also question and i know its off topic is the Asus P6T6 i thought the ASUS p8z68 v deluxe was better than the P6T6 (other than price that is) since the i7-2600k runs like a godsend on the p8z68 The z68 chipset is suppose to be a little bit better for overclocking though...but that's if you're sticking one card i suppose...then again the WS Revolution will run two 6990 cards at full x16 right?
BACK ON TOPIC
Also I should try this lol thanks for the post

Re: Mr.J's super fun fantastic corner
The original i7 series (when it comes to the 980/990) performs a little bit better when doing over clocks (5ghz for mine atm and I can crank it up to about 9.5ghz if I invest in water). Apparently they can withstand the heat a little better. I don't want to test it though.
And the reason why I went with the 6T6 is because it can do 3 cards in x16. It has 2 dedicated 16's and one that switches between 8 and 16, depending on what's plugged in.
The downside to the 6T6 is that it has no Sata3/USB3 support without buying a card. And to get the proper speeds, I have to plug it in to a x8 slot. The 6T6 doesn't have that kind of space with the 6980's in the case.
I went with the 6980's because I could unlock their true potential. And it wouldn't have the price tag of $600 a card. ($350 a card). However, I'm starting to regret giving ATI another chance. Their software is horribly configured. Even their launch titles are struggling. Each card has 2GB ram and I don't think it uses it. For some games, I have to disable the crossfire settings. The game actually performs better with 1 card. Or, in the case of Skyrim, I have to do some heavy file modding just to get it to run smoothly in crossfire mode. But, when it comes to running simulations (seti@home, etc.) it has no problems. It's like the cards were designed and optimized just for that function.

Leveling super fast
Do you hate leveling? Find it very tedious? Do you wish someone would find a way to speed it up for you?
Well now there's "J-Walk's quick grind"!
All you need is:
The ability to kill fast. And I mean fast. The mobs have a universal weakness to expel. So get the spear "Last judgement".
Comp hack dungeon alpha chips (10 - 20 should do)
Incense of 2010.
All the xp gear you could possibly wear.
Peace for 5 minutes
And do not group up.
What you do is:
1) Enter the dungeon. Kill all the trash. Zone to the next area. Kill the trash and 2 of the 3 zone bosses.
2) Use your incense of 2010. WARNING! IT HAS A USE TIME OF 5 MINUTES. KILL FAST! Also, it DOES NOT stack with incense of experience potions.
3) Kill the final mob.
4) Collect your prize
5) Zone, do it again.
Your reward for doing this is roughly 12 million xp per chip (More if you use the party xp item and have more xp gear). In a 5 minute window, I was able to go from lvl 45 to 55.
*FUTURE REPORT ON LEVEL GAINS POST LVL 60 GOES HERE*
Enjoy.
